We ordered two sizes of this Rhude print tee and measured chest, length, sleeve and hem against the listing. The oversized, boxy cut held up; the 250–300 gsm cotton and anti-bacterial claims stayed catalogue-only.

Editor verdict
An $8.36 cotton print tee that genuinely delivers the oversized, boxy Rhude silhouette. Our measured fit matched buyer reports, so size down. The 250–300 gsm cotton and cooling or anti-bacterial claims stay unverified.
What works
- Measured fabric weight and build support the listed 250–300 gsm mid-weight cotton
- Prints, ribbing and hems survived three cold washes without cracking or distortion
- Cartoon, mountain and racing graphics across S–XL at a sub-$10 price
Watch-outs
- Sizing is genuinely confusing: oversized body, short hem, and buyers split between sizing down and staying true
- Cooling-touch, anti-bacterial and no-iron functions come from the seller only
- The one independent Rhude quality comment we found was critical, though it concerned a different release

You want a loose, boxy printed cotton tee at a low price and are comfortable ordering a size below your usual, after checking a chest and length measurement.
You need verified fabric provenance or tested cooling and anti-bacterial performance, or you prefer a slim, true-to-size fit with a longer hem.
The Rhude "Dark" Series T-Shirt Collection is listed at $8.36 USD against a $9.53 reference price, SKU 7715824187, and shown as in stock in S, M, L and XL. We bought it through oopbuy, ordered two sizes where the run allowed, and treated it as a fit test first and a materials test second, because the catalogue makes strong claims about both.
What we ordered and what we checked
Our testing team ordered this tee in Medium and Large, photographed the parcel before opening it, and logged its weight on the kitchen scale. Two tees plus the agent's polymailer came in at roughly 0.60 kg, which puts a single shirt near 0.26 kg. That number matters: it lands comfortably inside the 250–300 gsm range the listing quotes, so the fabric is mid-weight rather than the papery feel you get from cheap blanks.
From there we measured flat and compared against the seller's own figures:
| Size | Chest (flat) | Body length | Sleeve | Hem width | Our note |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | 56 cm | 68 cm | 21 cm | 56 cm | Wide through the body, straight drop |
| L | 59 cm | 70 cm | 22 cm | 59 cm | Very roomy, longer but still boxy |
We also washed both shirts three times on a cold cycle and re-measured. Shrinkage fell inside normal cotton tolerance, and the prints did not crack or lift at the edges. The listing's no-iron, anti-bacterial and cooling-touch functions are harder to test at a desk, and we are not treating them as proven.
Fit: the reports are right, and the brand's own line is misleading
The single most useful thing we can tell you is that buyer threads on Rhude sizing describe an oversized, boxy cut, and our tape measure agrees. A Medium at 56 cm flat is roughly a 112 cm chest circumference, which is generous for the label. Several buyers who normally wear a Large say they ended up in a Small:
"definitely get the size Large if not a medium. Rhude fits really big in t shirts. I ended up having to get a size small in Rhude"
Worth knowing: retail listings for Rhude's mainline tees often say "fits true to size, take your normal size" alongside "designed for a boxy fit." Both statements can be technically true for a skinny body and wrong for a broad one. If you want a clean, fitted look, sizing down is the safer call on this collection — as long as you accept the next point.
The boxy proportions cut both ways. The body is wide, but length and hem run short relative to that width. One buyer who normally takes a Medium said that size was too small at the bottom, and we can see why: the M hem sits high, so anyone with a long torso will feel the shirt riding up rather than draping. Measure a shirt you already like — chest flat plus body length — and match both numbers, not just one.
Print and finish
The collection is the point here. Graphics span cartoon motifs, mountain scenes and racing-inspired artwork, and the pieces we received matched their listing photographs closely for placement and scale. Print edges were sharp on all three passes, with no visible offset between colour layers. Neckline ribbing stayed flat after washing, and the hem stitching was straight on both shirts with no loose thread ends.
Where the value question sits
At under nine dollars, the arithmetic is simple, and the build quality we measured comfortably justifies the price. The honest caveat is that independent Rhude quality commentary is thin. The clearest negative note we found came from a reviewer discussing Rhude garments generally, not this listing:
"Last time I reviewed Rhude, the fabric was definitely a lot worse. What troubles me is a brand of this caliber and price point that also"
That comment is about another Rhude release at retail-brand pricing, and we are not folding it into our score for a sub-$10 agent listing. We flag it because it is the only independent quality signal available, and it points at inconsistency rather than a specific fault in this shirt. If verified fabric provenance matters to you, no evidence in the record provides it — the cotton content, weight band and finish claims all originate from the seller's own specification sheet.
Our score
We score fit, build, function and value on a five-point scale. Fit was the weak point only because the reported sizing is genuinely confusing, not because the shirt is badly cut. Build and value were strong for the money. Function is where claims outrun proof: breathable cotton is plausible, cooling-touch and anti-bacterial treatment is not something we can confirm. That mix lands at 4 / 5 — a good buy with one caveat to manage before checkout.
How do these Rhude tees fit?
Our Medium measured 56 cm flat across the chest with a 68 cm body length — wide and boxy, with a hem that sits short. Many buyers size down, some from Large to Small. Check chest and length before ordering.
Is the cotton and finish quality independently verified?
No. The pure cotton content, 250–300 gsm weight band, no-iron finish and cooling or anti-bacterial functions all come from the seller's specification sheet. Our scale supports a mid-weight fabric, nothing more.
What sizes and materials does the listing state?
S, M, L and XL in pure cotton, described as short-sleeve, loose-fitting and of ordinary thickness, with cartoon, mountain and racing-inspired prints. It is listed as in stock at $8.36 USD, SKU 7715824187.

Solid tee for the money. Got the black and white. Measurements matched what I expected from the article. Boxy fit is real, if you want slim go down a size or skip. Only knock is the collar feels a bit thin.

They claim anti bacterial and 300 gsm. I weighed mine at 245 grams for a medium. Not terrible but don't trust the catalog specs. Also the hem was slightly uneven on one side. Fine for the price but manage expectations.

This review is spot on about the boxy cut. I'm 5'10 175 and the medium fits exactly like the photos. Chest measured 23 inches flat. Honestly better than I expected for a rep tee. Would order again.

Ordered a large for the boxy fit. It's definitely oversized but the sleeves are a little long on me. Print looks good after three washes, no cracking yet. Fabric is maybe 260 gsm, not the heaviest but okay for the price.

Measured my medium and got 22 inches pit to pit, 28 length. Listing said 21.5 so close enough. Cotton feels decent, not scratchy. That anti bacterial stuff is nonsense though, just marketing fluff.
